My Mission

My mission is to help get you or your loved one to a place of health and wholeness. I understand the journey is daunting and challenging. I have helped families with this particular journey over the last 12 years and it is my mission to help yours as well.

about me

Christine was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and moved to the Kansas City area in 2018. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Northeastern State University and she received her Master’s degree in community counseling from Oklahoma State University. Christine completed an internship at a addiction treatment center for women and children and enjoyed being able to work with women seeking to better their lives, and the lives of their children. In 2007 she joined the team at Laureate, a psychiatric hospital located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. During her 8+ years there, she worked in various different settings, including in admissions and as a primary therapist on the adolescent unit. Her family then moved and began their overseas living adventure in 2015 where they spent 3 years living in Peru. After spending those years abroad in South America, she moved to Kansas City and joined the team at InSight Counseling LLC in 2018. She enjoys collaborating and working as part of a treatment team, which she continues to do in an outpatient setting. Christine has extensive experience in working with adults, adolescents, and their families across multiple treatment settings and modalities. She has experience in individual, family, and group therapy, as well as parent coaching and meal support. In addition to working with eating disorders, Christine works with those struggling with negative body image, anxiety, and depression. Christine mainly works from a perspective of ACT, DBT, and CBT modalities; she can also work within a Christian lens for those desiring that framework. Christine is licensed in Kansas and Oklahoma.
